"Gay Adoption and Organ Theft: The Limits of Human Rights and
Reproductive Rights."

This talk explores the contemporary politics surrounding gay and
transnational adoption in the Americas from the 1980s to the present. It
begins with the circulation of organ theft stories, in which children
are kidnapped and sold into international adoptions. The talk focuses
particularly on Mexico and Guatemala and questions of child
disappearance, trafficking, and dismemberment, and explores the limits
of both human rights and reproductive rights as legal frameworks for
thinking about protecting either impoverished children or LGBTQ
family-making.

Je sais bien qu'on aura plutôt du mal à s'y rendre mais j'essaye d'avoir le texte. Pour ceux qui trouvent assez abscons certains termes, j'ai mis un lien vers l'article anglais de Wikipedia de ce que je ne sais traduire en français ... Faut savoir que cela fait partie du jargon de ces grosses machines comme l'Organisation Mondiale de la Santé.
Ce qui m'intéresse bien sûr c'est la recherche de l'équilibre entre le bien des enfants de ces pays et ce que l'auteure appelle joliment le "faire-famille" des LGBTQ...
